It hurts so bad when your kids grow up and seem to not feel the need to spend any time with you anymore. The hurt is nothing words can really describe, you just have to live it to understand. What happened to those kids that loved and needed me so much?

I so feel your pain on this one. I have two teenage boys and they are becoming more independent each day. That's why I am coming up with a list of things I can do to keep me preoccupied when hubby and I are empty-nesters!
What a thing to ponder!
I have 5 young ones and am totally consumed by them everyday.....hard to imagine they will not 'need' me some day!
